On Monday, June 22, 2026, a tragic shooting took place in the Côte-des-Neiges neighborhood of Montreal, leaving three people dead.
事件發生於上午11點35分左右，當時警方接到報告，稱一名武裝人員正從一棟建築內開火。
The incident began around 11:35 a.m. when police received reports of an armed individual firing from a building.
遺憾的是，34歲的警官穆罕默德·拉明·本雷杜安在執行勤務時殉職，這是蒙特婁警官24年來首次在執勤中喪生。
Tragically, police officer Mohamed Lamine Benredouane, 34, lost his life in the line of duty, marking the first such death of a Montreal officer in 24 years.

A local rabbi, Michael Moshe Mizrahi, was also killed, and the gunman died during the police confrontation.
