2026年6月22日，蒙特婁的雪嶺區(Côte-des-Neiges)發生了一起震驚社會的慘烈槍擊案，造成三人死亡。
On June 22, 2026, the Montreal neighbourhood of Côte-des-Neiges was shaken by a tragic shooting that left three people dead.
大約在上午11點35分，警方接獲報告稱庫爾特雷(Courtrai)大道與跨島(Trans Island)大道附近傳出槍響。
At approximately 11:35 a.m., authorities responded to reports of gunfire near Courtrai and Trans Island avenues.
遺憾的是，蒙特婁警察局(SPVM)警員穆罕默德·拉明·本雷杜安(Mohamed Lamine Benredouane)在執勤時殉職，另一名平民麥可·莫舍·米茲拉希(Michael Moshe Mizrahi)也不幸喪生。
Tragically, SPVM officer Mohamed Lamine Benredouane was killed in the line of duty, and a civilian, Michael Moshe Mizrahi, also lost his life.
嫌疑犯在衝突中被執法人員擊斃。
The suspect was neutralized by law enforcement during the altercation.
事發後，相關當局立即對附近居民發布了原地避難令，直到現場安全無虞後才解除。
In the immediate aftermath, authorities issued a shelter-in-place order for the safety of nearby residents, which was lifted once the scene was secured.

While a second police officer remains in critical condition and another civilian sustained minor injuries, officials confirmed the public is no longer at risk.

The investigation is now being led by Quebec’s independent police watchdog, the Bureau des enquêtes indépendantes (BEI).

Montreal Police Chief Fady Dagher expressed profound grief, and government leaders, including the Prime Minister, condemned the violence.

While official motives remain under investigation, early reports suggest a connection to extremist subcultures rather than terrorism.
