家畜やペットを守るため、ミシガン州農務農村開発局（MDARD）は、2026年6月17日より、厳格な動物輸送新規則を導入しました。
To protect its livestock and pets, the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (MDARD) has introduced strict new animal transport rules starting June 17, 2026.
ミシガン州ではNWSは発見されていませんが、テキサス州やニューメキシコ州での最近の発生を受け、今回のような予防的姿勢をとることになりました。
While NWS has not been found in Michigan, recent outbreaks in Texas and New Mexico have prompted this proactive stance.
スクリュウワームは、傷口に卵を産み付け、孵化した幼虫が生存組織を食べ荒らすため、非常に破壊的です。
The screwworm is highly destructive, as it lays eggs in wounds, leading larvae to feed on living tissue.
さらに、開いた傷がある場合は明記し、適用可能な場合は予防的治療を受けることが求められています。
Additionally, any open wounds must be clearly documented, and preventative treatments are required where applicable.
疑いのある事例は、ミシガン州の動物の健康と農業部門の安定を維持するため、直ちにMDARDへ報告しなければなりません。
Any suspected cases must be reported immediately to MDARD to ensure the health of Michigan’s animals and the stability of its agricultural sector.
